Welcome! My name is Paige and I recently graduated from DePaul University with an M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction. I previously attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I completed my B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Gender & Women's Studies.

My initial interest in UX design was sparked through my studies of psychology and learning about human behavior. I have done extensive research in social psychology specifically within my role as a Research Assistant for the Illinois Social Interaction Laboratory and the Developmental Social Neuroscience Laboratory. I am looking to transition into a field where I can combine my experience in behavioral research with creativity and technology, making UX/UI design the perfect crossover.

During my time in technical customer support, I gained valuable experience in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working with clients to understand their needs and find solutions that fit their specific situation. This experience has helped me to better understand user needs and how to design products that effectively address those needs.

As a UX designer, I am passionate about creating products that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also intuitive and user-friendly. I believe that a good UX design should seamlessly integrate into a user's life, making their experience with the product as easy and enjoyable as possible. I am skilled in using various design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite to create wireframes, visual designs, and low to high-fidelity prototypes.

In my free time, I am an avid traveler, camping enthusiast, concert goer, swimming fanatic, and animal lover. I believe that my diverse range of interests and experiences have helped me to become a well-rounded and empathetic designer, able to understand and cater to a variety of user needs.
